Job description

Job Summary:
Suncap Technology is looking for a Scrum Master/Flow Master to support two Investment Operations focused teams. The role involves facilitating Agile practices and ensuring the continual delivery of business value within the asset management industry.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for ensuring team follows Agile values, principles and practices
• Facilitates meetings and ensure Scrum events are held (Backlog refinement, Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint, Sprint Review and Retrospective)
• Facilitate Kanban team, ensure metrics are collected and leverage metrics to effectively facilitate meetings and process improvements
• Coach Product Owner and Development team to facilitate learning, development and adoption of Agile best practices.
• Collaborate with Product Owner to prioritize, maintain product backlog and assist building Product Roadmap.
• Holds the team accountable and ensures the team understands and meets goals
• Facilitates conversation to create a plan to address process improvements
• Tracks and publishes progress towards goals / project execution
• Monitor budget and escalate issues as appropriate.
• Assist with internal and external communication to ensure transparency with the team, sponsors and stakeholders.
• Experience with tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Scrum master experience at an asset management company
• Flow Master / Kanban experience
• Familiar with Eagle Investments Systems applications / trade operations
• Project Manager experience
• Experience within the asset management or financial services industry – with at least three years as a Scrum Master
• Excellent communication, facilitation, conflict resolution and coaching skills
Preferred:
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) preferred.
