Responsibilities and Duties

·   Manage assigned projects from preconstruction and planning through construction, closeout, and final completion

·   Develop, maintain, and manage project schedules to ensure project milestones and completion dates are achieved

·   Manage project budgets, costs, commitments, and financial performance and provide accurate and timely project forecasts

·   Coordinate with Project Superintendents to plan and execute field operations, including subcontractor activities, equipment, materials, and manpower requirements

·   Manage subcontractors and vendors, including scope coordination, contract compliance, scheduling, performance, and issue resolution

·   Review construction documents, drawings, specifications, and scopes of work to identify discrepancies, constructability concerns, potential conflicts, and project risks

·   Manage the RFI process and ensure questions, clarifications, and design issues are documented and resolved in a timely manner

·   Manage submittals and shop drawings to ensure accuracy, contract compliance, timely review, and proper distribution

·   Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment to support project schedules and field operations

·   Prepare, review, negotiate, and track change orders, including subcontractor and owner changes

·   Monitor project costs and identify potential budget impacts, cost exposures, and opportunities for savings

·   Maintain accurate and complete project documentation, including contracts, correspondence, drawings, reports, RFIs, submittals, change documentation, and other required project records

·   Maintain regular communication with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, Project Superintendents, and internal team members

·   Lead and participate in project meetings and communicate project status, schedule, financial performance, risks, and outstanding issues

·   Work closely with Project Superintendents to proactively identify and resolve field conditions, scheduling conflicts, design discrepancies, and other project challenges

·   Manage project billing, cost reporting, forecasting, and other financial reporting requirements

·   Ensure contractual requirements, project specifications, company procedures, and applicable codes and standards are followed throughout the project

·   Coordinate project closeout activities, including punch lists, final documentation, warranties, as-built drawings, and turnover requirements

·   Support estimating and preconstruction efforts as needed, including scope review, budgeting, constructability review, and subcontractor/vendor coordination

·   Promote a safe, professional, and collaborative work environment and support Barin Group's commitment to quality, safety, and client satisfaction

Qualifications and Skills

·   Working knowledge of the construction industry, construction methods, project management practices, and field operations

·   Experience managing construction projects or progressively responsible experience in project engineering, assistant project management, or a related construction role

·   Ability to read, interpret, and understand construction drawings, specifications, contracts, scopes of work, and other construction documents

·   Understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, cost control, forecasting, procurement, change management, and project documentation

·   Knowledge of RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, change orders, contracts, and construction closeout processes

·   Ability to identify project risks, discrepancies, and potential field issues and develop practical solutions

·   Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

·   Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

·   Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, field personnel, and internal teams

·   Ability to exercise sound judgment, take ownership of assigned projects, and make decisions necessary to maintain project progress

·   Proficiency with construction management software and standard business applications

·   Knowledge of applicable construction codes, standards, safety requirements, and industry practices

·   Valid driver's license
