THIS ROLE IS HYBRID AND WILL REQUIRE 3 DAYS A WEEK ON-SITE

Primary Function:

ChristianaCare is seeking a full-time program manager to provide oversight, evaluation, and administrative support to the programmatic areas and research projects of the Harrington Trust Program and iREACH Research Institute. The Harrington Trust was established to advance scholarship and support innovative programs serving communities and provide research infrastructure for iREACH Research Institute.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • With limited supervision, manage the administrative and operational aspects for Harrington's programs, portfolio of research and grants, serving as the content expert and primary point of contact for stakeholders and community partners.

  • Manages departmental student, intern, and pipeline programs including standardizing process and procedures, contracts/agreements, onboarding, safety, compliance, and regulatory aspects.

  • Development and maintance of longitudinal student databases for research and program evaluation.

  • Coordinate, prepare and present project and program related information, status reports and changes to department leadership, partners, and appropriate departments.

  • Supports departmental communications and social media platforms, including but not limited to internal SharePoint site and LinkedIn.

  • Plans, coordinates, and manages day-of activities for all Harrington-related meetings, events, conferences and the annual Harrington Pre-Health Symposium.

  • Coordinates and contributes to Harrington research projects including IRB, enrollment, data acquisition, contracts, data use agreements, budgets and submissions.

  • Uses a grass roots approach to foster collaboration, cooperation, and partnerships with existing and new departments, organizations and communities.

  • Manages Harrington project and program budgets including preparation of requisitions, purchasing, invoice processing, vendor/partner agreements, and compliance with limited supervision.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Nursing, or other related field preferred, Bachelor's degree required.

  • One to two years of project management experience required; project management certification preferred.

  • Research and grant management experience in a healthcare or academic setting is desirable.

  • An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements:

  • Exceptional organization, communication and collaborative skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook

  • Experience with research software and tool; such as REDCap.

  • Experience with Adobe and knowledge of visual content creation tools and software, such as Canva

  • Strong connection with Delaware communities and grassroots coordination.

Annual Compensation Range $79,497.60 - $127,212.80This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
