The Mid-State Melon Mashers, a spirited wood-bat baseball team, are seeking a highly motivated and organized Assistant General Manager (Intern) to contribute to our success for the upcoming season. This is an unparalleled opportunity to immerse yourself in the day-to-day management of a sports organization, learning from experienced professionals across various departments.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the General Manager with administrative tasks, scheduling, and project coordination.
  • Support game day operations, including pre-game setup, in-game execution, and post-game breakdown.
  • Coordinate logistical arrangements for players, staff, and events (e.g., travel, housing, equipment).
  • Contribute to community outreach initiatives, sponsor relations, and fan engagement activities.
  • Assist with inventory management for merchandise, concessions, and team supplies.
  • Provide support for sales and marketing efforts, including data entry and promotional material distribution.
  • Handle general office duties, including managing correspondence, organizing files, and preparing reports.
  • Collaborate with various departments (e.g., marketing, social media, concessions) to ensure smooth operations.
