Job description

Amyx Inc. is looking for a Program Manager III who will supervise a staff of 25+ Analysts, Engineers, and Subject Matter experts to support the Department of Homeland Security in Counter UAS, Counter IED, and Counter USS operations management. The Program Manager III will provide expertise in support of Executive Staff Level stakeholders for counter UAS, IED and USS policies, procedures, governance, and technologies and other administrative duties as assigned.


  • Lead program teams through all phases of the program / project life cycle
  • Manage with minimal supervision all levels of assigned program team personnel
  • Manage relationships with all levels of the customer’s organization
  • Manage program financials, schedule, and scope / requirement objectives
  • Engage in direct customer interaction when scoping new product capabilities
  • Knowledge of full program life cycle (Agile and other life cycles); customer needs, design, development, testing, deployment, support
  • Track program progress and conduct status meetings with all team members
  • Independently perform program/project management responsibilities
  • Collaborate and communicate with customers via face-to-face, telephone, email, and other media to maintain strong customer relationships and set proper customer expectations
  • Communicate the customer’s goals and represent the customer’s interests to the team
  • Effectively interact with other departments to gather, monitor, and analyze performance data
  • Be responsible for all customer communications, conflict resolution, and compliance on customer deliverables and revenue
  • Provide project status reports, address issues and problems as appropriate
  • Verify that processes and procedures are completed and quality standards are met
  • Pursue opportunities for program growth and new business
  • Actively look for new employees
  • Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned
  • Must have the ability to communicate accurate information

Required:

  • Bachelor's (BS or BA) degree in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) or equivalent of education and related experience
  • 15 years minimum experience performing as a Program Manager (PM), Assistant PM (APM), Deputy PM (DPM), Project Manager (PjM), and/or Project Engineer (PE) or Subject Matter Expert
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Ability to travel 25%

Desired:

  • Experience with Counter-UAS or UAS progreams or role, armed platform program management or role
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite of products
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Prior lead/leadership experience
  • Experience with DHS and DoD Counter UAS mandates, regulations and governance structure
