Job description

Job summary 

As a Trading Services Manager III in the Global Securitized Product team, you manage the operational infrastructure supporting mortgage finance lending facilities for mortgage originators. You lead a team of deal managers and oversee funding and settlement, collateral management, risk controls, and client servicing to ensure efficient execution and compliance across the lending lifecycle. You manage a large portfolio of clients and ensure daily service levels are met while driving issue resolution and process improvements.

Job responsibilities 
  • Manage daily operations supporting mortgage finance lending facilities.
  • Oversee deal setup and onboarding, including funding and settlement execution.
  • Monitor pledged loan collateral and prepare or review borrowing base calculations to support eligibility and utilization.
  • Manage exception reporting and drive timely resolution of routine discrepancies and escalations.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of disbursements, settlements, and ongoing servicing activities.
  • Review and interpret legal and lending documents tied to facilities and partner with stakeholders to address requirements.
  • Partner with front office and other internal teams to mitigate risk, manage exposure, and support client needs.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and serve as the primary day-to-day operational interface for customers.
  • Monitor productivity, set performance expectations, and deliver coaching to drive team performance improvements.
  • Hire, train, and mentor staff, including delivering virtual training to clients on system applications when needed.
  • Drive process improvements, workflow automation, system enhancements, and audit readiness, including user acceptance testing support.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in banking operations or finance.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse lending or mortgage finance.
  • Minimum of 3 years of people management experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with sound judgment and a strong risk and control mindset.
  • Experience reading and interpreting loan documentation and facility-related legal documents.
  • Strong client service skills and experience managing senior client relationships.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders (for example, collateral custodians, technology, relationship teams, and treasury).
  • Proven ability to manage high-volume workflows and meet defined service levels.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple competing demands.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs.
