Job description


STV is seeking a Healthcare Construction Project Manager for our PM/CM team in Connecticut.

The Project Manager (PM) will support the Senior Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and overseeing healthcare construction infrastructure projects. This role involves assisting in project execution, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, managing documentation, and maintaining communication between stakeholders. The APM will help ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing healthcare construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Coordinate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, RFIs, and submittals.
  • Support project scheduling, budgeting, and cost control efforts.
  • Work closely with contractors, architects, engineers, and healthcare facility representatives.
  • Ensure all work complies with healthcare construction codes, safety regulations, and infection control protocols.
  • Assist in tracking project milestones, deliverables, and overall progress.
  • Attend project meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
  • Support procurement and logistics for materials and equipment.
  • Help identify and mitigate risks that could impact project timelines or budgets.
  • Maintain project records and prepare reports for senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering(Civil, Electrical, Mechanical), Architecture, or a related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in construction project management, preferably in healthcare infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with healthcare construction standards (e.g., FGI Guidelines, ASHE standards, Joint Commission regulations).
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar).
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of budgeting, cost estimation, and financial tracking.
  • OSHA 30-hour certification (preferred).
