Assist On-Site Program Manager in managing customer manufacturing facility. Overseeing all areas related to identifying, implementing, and maintaining by-product management programs at large customer manufacturing sites.
Essential Functions
  • Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
  • Ensure roll off boxes are properly labeled
  • Perform daily rounds on the outside perimeter of the plant to ensure proper waste segregation
  • Assist the On-Site Program Manager to find alternative vendors for waste/recycling streams for better uses
  • Back up for On-Site Manager for vacation and sick leave
  • Perform daily inside routes to audit for waste segregation of waste containers and recycling bins
  • Consult with customer and vendors to develop solutions to improve by-product management process
  • Work with plant Environmental Specialists on recycling and waste deliveries and look for improvement of the recycling process
  • Oversee scheduling of by-products leaving the site
  • Issue the weekly waste audit report to the Environmental Specialist
  • Aid On-Site Program Manager with data entry, charting, and analyzing the data in order to better strategize waste reduction
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned, including but not limited to continuously growing in alignment with the Company's core values, competencies, and skills.

Education Qualifications
  • Required High School or Equivalent
  • Preferred Bachelor's Degree 4-year degree

Experience Qualifications
  • Required 1+ years of manufacturing work environment

Skills and Abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
  • Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook).
  • Good knowledge and understanding of various federal, state, and local industry-related regulations.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.
