POSITION SUMMARY:
The Program Manager - Medical Products is responsible for leading cross-functional initiatives that drive standardization, scalability, and efficient execution across product lines. This role partners closely with engineering and product management to develop repeatable processes, support customer opportunities, and establish platform-based product strategies.
The ideal candidate will combine strong program management discipline with technical collaboration skills to help accelerate innovation and improve operational efficiency across the portfolio.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead cross-functional programs supporting medical product development and strategic initiatives.
  • Drive standardization across product lines to improve efficiency, reduce complexity, and enable faster time-to-market.
  • Coordinate with engineering, sales, and product management to develop and deliver RFQ proposals, ensuring technical and commercial alignment.
  • Support the development of scalable platform architectures, enabling reuse of modules, subsystems, and technologies.
  • Facilitate communication and decision-making across engineering, operations, marketing, and leadership teams.
  • Develop and track metrics to measure standardization and platform adoption effectiveness.
  • Support data-driven decision making by synthesizing complex data into actionable insights for leadership.
  • Manage customer communications throughout program execution, including status updates, issue escalation, risk mitigation, schedule changes, and recovery planning to ensure alignment and maintain strong customer relationships.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 7+ years of experience in program or project management in a technical or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience collaborating with engineering teams on product development programs.
  • Experience in medical technology, regulated environments, or power systems.
  • Experience with platform-based product development and modular design approaches.
  • Experience managing customer-facing programs or projects, including executive communications, issue resolution, risk management, and customer expectation management.

EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.

COMPENSATION:
As required by multiple state pay transparency laws, Advanced Energy provides a reasonable range of compensation for each job posting. Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. The range of starting pay for this role is $110,000 to $150,000 per year.
