Job description

About The Role:

At Archer, we are scaling production of our cutting-edge eVTOL Aircraft. This team owns execution across assembly, integration, and test, managing detailed sequencing, resolving build challenges, and aligning cross-functional teams to ensure each aircraft meets schedule and readiness milestones.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead the execution of aircraft assembly and integration from initial planning through final delivery
  • Serve as the technical and programmatic point of contact, managing coordination between engineering, manufacturing, systems, supply chain, and quality assurance teams
  • Develop and maintain integrated program schedules, budgets, and risk registers to track progress and ensure milestones are met
  • Oversee the physical integration of structural, mechanical, and avionic systems into aircraft platforms
  • Ensure configuration control, interface compatibility, and alignment with certification and customer requirements
  • Identify and resolve technical and execution risks quickly and efficiently
  • Communicate program status, risks, and recovery plans clearly to leadership and customers

What You Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field
  • 8+ years of experience, including 5+ years in aircraft assembly, integration, or manufacturing engineering and 3+ years in a program or technical leadership role
  • Strong technical knowledge of aircraft structural assemblies, system installations, wiring, hydraulics, and flight systems
  • Proven ability to manage program schedules, technical scope, and cross-functional resources
  • Experience with program management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheets, Jira) and standard office applications
  • Demonstrated success in managing program schedules, technical scope, and cross-disciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Expertise in advanced manufacturing tools (CAD, PLM, MES)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills to set direction and mentor a diverse engineering team
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-iteration environment, balancing big-picture program goals with hands-on, real-time build solutions

Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
