Job description

The Program Manager Operations I is responsible for overseeing and managing a portfolio of operations programs within Desert Financial. They work closely with cross-functional teams that include technology, product management, compliance and vendor management to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The Program Manager is responsible for developing and implementing program management processes, tracking and reporting on program progress, and identifying and resolving issues that may arise. This role involves coordinating activities across various departments, identifying risks and issues and developing strategies to address them. The operations program manager works closely with project managers, team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment on objectives and deliverables. They also need to analyze data and metrics to measure performance and make recommendations for improvements. Additionally, the operations program manager may be involved in developing and implementing operational processes and procedures to streamline project execution and drive efficiency.

What you will do here:

Develop and implement program management processes and standards to ensure consistency and efficiency across all operations programs.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

Create and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.

Monitor and track program progress, identifying potential risks and issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.

Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders and senior management on a regular basis.

Lead and facilitate program meetings, workshops, and reviews.

Ensure that program deliverables meet quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for program objectives.

Mentor and coach project managers and team members to ensure successful program delivery.

Continuously evaluate and improve program management processes and practices to drive operational excellence.

What you will need:

High School Diploma or GED required.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or related field preferred.

Equivalent combination of education and experience required.

4+ years knowledge and expertise in bank operations and procedures, analytics and risk management gained through relevant work experience required.

1+ years of Program Management experience in developing and driving initiatives from start to finish, from recommendation to post-rollout measurement required.

1+ years experience in accounting or finance a plus.

Strong Project Management Skills required.

Excellent interpersonal skills required.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, presentation skills, planning skills, and analytical skills required.

Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively required.

Ability to multi task, focus, and prioritize multiple projects under pressure to meet deadlines required.

Exceptional problem-solving skills. Ability to quickly identify the root of a problem and determine the appropriate solution that mitigates risk and is a win-win for stakeholders required.

Ability to apply strategic thinking and demonstrate understanding of requirements to execute required.

Proven success in working with, and influencing executive leadership teams in a complex, growth oriented environment with changing priorities required.

Proficiency with MS Office Suite Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) required.

Advance proficiency in Excel required.
