Job description

Mayvin is seeking an Deputy Program Manager to support the United States Navy at the Navy Yard in Washington DC. Strong Navy background with programs and leadership executing technical Navy/NAVSEA/NAVAIR/NAVFAC/NAVSUP/ONR Programs.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must have an active Secret or higher clearance.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the program management
  • Acquisition Program Analysis and Support
  • Administration and Communications Support Services
  • Capability Assessment and Mission Analysis Support
  • Financial Management and Cost Estimating Support Services
  • Engineering and Technical Support Services

Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree
  • Minimum 5 years of demonstrated engineering or program management experience with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role
  • Department of the Navy experience, acquisition and JROC
  • Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated work experience in Program Management in support of DoW Program Management Office (PMO), Program Executive Office (PEO), or equivalent
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products/ services, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Desired Qualifications:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) PMP and/or DAWIA Level III PM certification or 12 years of PM experience
  • 6 years of demonstrated work experience supporting acquisition programs to the DOW.
  • Prior military service
