Job description

Seeking an instructor for the Professional Pilot degree program, to begin August 2026. AER 4060 - Intro to UAS.

This course provides a general understanding of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS or drones), their components, and how they interact and are used. It includes a comprehensive introduction to all of the elements of a complete UAS and addressed topics including the air vehicle; planning and control; mission payloads; data links; launch and recovery concepts; and ethical and legal issues associated with UAS operations.

Three credit course meets once per week. Manage classroom assignments and learning objectives. Prepare hands on learning assignments for students.

Salary:ย 
Based on credits previously taught per VSC-VSCPTF Bargaining Unit Agreement. The compensation or range of compensation for this role can be foundย hereย (Please reference Article 20/Article 21 on page 25 and 26)ย to the particular collective bargaining agreement.
