Job description

Chimera is seeking an experienced Program Management Office (PMO) Support professional. The Contractor shall provide PMO support to the CWMD Security Cooperation Engagement Program (CSCEP). Support must have at least three (3) years supporting theater campaign plans or Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) type activities. Must Possess a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or have commensurate experience. This position is located at Fort Belvoir, VA and requires a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective writing/editing support for the development of Security Cooperation documentation, such as significant Security Cooperation Initiatives (SSCI) and the review of After-Action Reports (AARs).
  • Understand process of Defense Security Cooperation Agency Section 333 program funding
  • Possess understanding of foreign military sales (FMS).
  • Provide case writing, tracking, and quality assurance/quality control support for Security Cooperation documentation, such as significant Security Cooperation Initiatives (SSCI), congressionally mandated 333 reports, and tailored engagement plans.
  • Input information into security assistance databases, including SOCIUM and Defense Security Assistance Management System as needed.
  • Assist in the development and review of requests for information from the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA), the Combatant Commands, and other organizations within and outside of DTRA.
  • Assist the reviewing, processing, and posting of after-action reports (AAR) and trip reports (TR).
  • Assess efficacy of program engagement execution with PNs over time.
  • Provide advice, development, and documentation for internal policies and procedures.
  • Assist with knowledge management to include: capture/record/track planned events, outcomes, metrics and other vital data; share documents; and ensure operational transparency.
  • Advise and assist on periodic reviews and updates of course material(s).
  • As requested, participate in meetings/conference calls.
  • Submit meeting minutes as requested (CDRL A003).
  • Support and deliver internal OB training as needed, including OB-BP Action Officer training.
  • Travel to support above tasks as needed.
  • Perform other related duties when required to meet operational demands.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required (Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred)
  • Must have a minimum of five (5) years of technical writing experience, understanding of CWMD/CBRN/Hazardous Material related operations, and also understand technical guidance and plans of associate GCCs.
  • Must have at least (3) years supporting security cooperation activities
  • Must be able to occasionally lift equipment, material, and supplies weighing up 40 pounds.
  • Must possess a valid US Passport.
  • Must be able to understand, review and submit reports, and work effectively with a broad range of people with wide variety of skills and experience.
  • Must be able to work independently, using good judgment and discretion on assigned tasks and accept direction on given assignments.
  • Must possess excellent verbal/written communication skills and turn in timely high quality products to the government. 
  • Must be functional with Word (intermediate), Excel (intermediate), PowerPoint (intermediate), Outlook e-mail, and Adobe Acrobat Pro.

Clearance:

  • Active Secret clearance.
