Salary: This is an unpaid administrative internship beginning in August 2026


The Intern position for Community Resources for Stability (CRS) will work closely with the Housing Stability Programs Manager, CRS Programs and Data Specialist, and the CRS Director. This position will work on special projects, including CRS client survey data entry and working with case managers to scan and upload completed client paperwork. The CRS Intern will also work with the Housing Stability Programs Manager to update training materials and written tools for case managers. The CRS Intern will work alongside the CRS Programs and Data Specialist and CRS Director to continue building the CRS Case Worthy database. 


The CRS Intern will have the opportunity to learn about different systems and databases used by human services case managers, attend training and team meetings, and learn policies and procedures related to human services work. 


 Responsibilities:

  • Scanning project: Transfer client paperwork to digital files on SharePoint.
  • Training Materials: Updating case manager training materials to be current on CRS policies and procedures.
  • Data Entry: Work with the CRS team to enter client survey and services information into various databases
  • Case Worthy Project: Work with the CRS Programs and Data Specialist and CRS Director to improve functionality of the Case Worthy database.
  • Set up and manage paper or electronic filing systems, record information, update paperwork, or maintain documents such as attendance records, correspondence, and other materials.
  • Contribute to other duties as assigned based on program needs.

Education:


Enrolled in an accredited degree program.


Skills and Experience: 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn client database systems.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with staff, volunteers, and others.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team when needed.
  • Use computers for various applications, such as database management or word processing.
  • Operate office equipment, such as fax machines, copiers, or phone systems and arrange for repairs when equipment malfunctions.
