Configuration Management Analyst

In this role, you will be expected to be able to perform tasks and scope associated to hardware configuration management, engineering bills of material management, and manufacturing bills of material management. You will support Configuration Management activities on Combat Vehicle Programs.
Skills Required
• Plan, organize, coordinate, and evaluates Configuration Changes and Bill of Material (BOM) impact analysis efforts in support of multiple, significant developmental and production programs within BAE Systems guidelines and U.S. Government specifications
• Execute assigned programs within cost and schedule constraints.
• Establish, maintain, and promote good customer relationships.
• Ensure the coordination of work tasks with customer representatives and ensure customers are informed on status and progress of assigned programs.
• Contribute to the preparation of project documentation to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Review documentation and apply knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes.
• Analyze proposed changes of product design to determine effect on the BOM.
• Coordinate modification records for Changes and BOM management control.

• Ensure CDM efforts meet cost, quality, schedule, and performance requirements.
• Establish and maintain configuration baselines and associated CSA information.
• Support the development, delivery, and customer review of program documentation/data deliverables and status accounting updates.
Experience Required
• General understanding of Engineering / Manufacturing / Operations processes.
• Ability to look at engineering drawing and understand which parts need to go into the Engineering Bills Of Material (eBOMs) and Manufacturing Bills of Material (mBOMs).
• Knowledge/Experience with Enterprise Product Data Management System (EPDM).
• Understanding of processes to build and make products such as sub-assembly, installation, machining, welding, paint, marking, etc.
• Knowledge/Experience with Oracle related to Item Masters, Drawing File, Bills of Materials, Routings, etc. • Good computer skills, with a solid understanding of the typical PC applications especially MS Office, Excel and Word.
• Attention to detail, coupled with good time management and organization skills.
• Ability to partner and collaborate with company personnel, customers, and suppliers to include effective communication both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to make decisions using sound judgment while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
