Position Summary

The Program Manager supports the operational effectiveness of the Program Management Office by coordinating portfolio processes, governance activities, reporting, and project support functions. This role partners across business, technology, operations, and finance teams to ensure projects and programs are managed consistently, risks are identified and communicated, and portfolio information is accurate and actionable. The position contributes to the development and maintenance of PMO standards, reporting, and operational processes that support successful execution of strategic initiatives.

Summary of Essential Job Functions
  • Lead complex, cross-functional programs through planning, execution, delivery, and stabilization.
  • Drive end-to-end program management activities including timelines, dependencies, risk management, governance, and stake holder communication.
  • Partner with business and technical teams to define scope, priorities, sequencing, and delivery expectations.
  • Facilitate resolution of escalations, risks, dependencies, and cross functional challenges impacting delivery.
  • Communicate program health, milestones, risk, and decisions to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
  • Coordinate across multiple business and technology teams to ensure alignment and execution consistency.
  • Support financial management activities including budgeting, forecasting, and value tracking in partnership with Finance and PMO Operations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of program governance, delivery standards, and reporting practices.
Position Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in program management, financial services, technology, operations, or related industries.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex cross-functional programs or strategic initiatives.
  • Experience in banking, credit cards, payments, operations, technology, risk, or compliance environments preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and operate effectively in fast paced, evolving environments.
  • Experience communicating with senior leaders and executive stakeholders.
Preferred
  • Experience supporting enterprise transformation or large-scale strategic initiatives.
  • Familiarity with enterprise governance, portfolio management, and program delivery frameworks.
