As the Director of Sales & Marketing, you will be the driving force behind revenue growth, leading proactive sales efforts to bring in new business and strengthen relationships with key clients. In this role, you will focus on identifying new business opportunities, building lasting partnerships, and showcasing the unique offerings of the hotel to potential clients. Your expertise and initiative will help position the property as a go-to destination for business travelers, events, and more.

Your Role:

Youโ€™ll be at the heart of the hotelโ€™s growth strategy, responsible for elevating its presence in the market. Your mission is to grow revenue by proactively reaching out to current and prospective clients, understanding their needs, and aligning them with the hotelโ€™s unique offerings. Some of your key responsibilities include:

  • Actively prospect and solicit new corporate business to drive revenue for the hotel.
  • Make sales appointments and cold calls to consistently identify and close new accounts across all direct sales segments.
  • Host clients for site visits, personalized tours, and exclusive entertainment events to demonstrate the value of our properties.
  • Monitor the production of all top accounts, analyzing trends, and adjusting strategies to maximize hotel performance.
  • Collaborate with the revenue management team to create and implement sales strategies that optimize hotel yield.
  • Lead and participating in daily and weekly sales meetings to ensure alignment and success across all initiatives.
  • Implement special promotions and participating in sales blitzes to boost direct sales efforts.
  • Ensure all interactions with guests and colleagues are conducted in an attentive, friendly, and service-oriented manner.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What Weโ€™re Looking For:

  • 3+ years of hands-on hotel sales and leadership experience.
  • Director-level experience is preferred.
  • Proven success in outside sales with a strong ability to generate new business.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a 2 to 4-year college degree is a plus.
  • Must be proficient with Windows operating systems and sales software.
  • Must have valid driverโ€™s license for applicable state and an acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Record).
