Job description

Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience is required, plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree, plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience to meet managerial expectations.

Clearance Requirement: 

Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance is required at time of hire. General Dynamics Mission Systems has an immediate opening for a Program Manager, Space Ground Systems. The position provides an opportunity for a leadership role in RF and Optical satellite ground entry point and ultra high-performance modem development programs.
The Space Ground Systems Program Manager is proficient in program management, encompassing the development of cohesive plans, adherence to budgets and schedules, and the ability to analyze financial data and communicate effectively with stakeholders, with strong leadership and negotiation skills, a deep understanding of product applications, customer markets, and business strategies, and the capacity to drive new business development and foster team growth.

We’ll rely on you to balance program risks and opportunities with executable strategies to meet technical requirements and budgets, as well as manage people who lead cross-functional program teams in matrix organization that are focused on the delivery of a product or computer-based system from design to release for customers.
