This position will coordinate admission paperwork needed for accounting and works closely with the Director in the management of the program census. In order to be considered you will need to current reside in Minnesota.
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 Hourly
Shift: Full-Time, 1 st shift
Full-Time, 12:00 pm - 8:30 pm, Tuesday-Friday
OR
Full-Time, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm and 12-8:30 pm rotating weeks, Saturday/Sunday

Responsibilities
The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.
  • Verification of funding.
  • Monitor wait list
  • Schedule evaluation/admission and arrange transportation if necessary.
  • Oversee paper flow to Accounting.
  • Determine client financial responsibility and monitor changes.
  • Perform necessary data entry.
  • Maintain daily census log.
  • Attend staff in services and meetings.
  • Paraprofessionals may not admit, transfer, or discharge clients. They may be directed to follow through with the process of implementation of the above by the director or designee.
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
  • Must have high school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:
  • Minimum 1 yr. experience in a chemical dependency facility and 2-3 years related experience required, or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Certifications/ Licenses
  • Possess a valid driver license
  • CPR and first aid certified.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
  • Must know or be willing to receive training on all parts and the implications of MN Statute 245G as well as all other required rules and regulations.
  • On-going training on of cultural awareness and demonstration of sensitivity to various cultural norms and values.
  • Computer literate.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Ability to communicate with a variety of people diverse cultures, socioeconomic and educational backgrounds.
  • Flexibility to meet a variety of changing priorities
  • Computer skills to draft emails, memos, and reporting
  • Strong verbal skills and ability to communicate abstract concepts in a simple format

PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
  • Social Security Verification: Name must match Social Security number and date of birth
  • Criminal Background Check: Nationwide, federal, state, and multi-county (up to 7 years)
  • Drug and Alcohol Testing: Must pass pre-employment screening; subject to random and post-incident testing if in a safety-sensitive role

WORKING CONDITIONS / WORKING REQUIREMENTS
Physical Requirements:
  • Sitting: Up to 8 hours continuously

  • Travel: Up to 15% between EOSIS program locations (as needed)
  • Lifting, standing, bending, squatting, reaching: Minimal
  • Stair climbing: Minimal (varies by assigned location)
  • Cleared Mantoux Screen
