Job description

SUMMARY

MedEvolve's Implementation team is seeking a Junior Implementation Project Manager to support client implementations of MedEvolve's practice management system, RCM workflow automation, and analytics platform. This is an early-career role designed for someone eager to build a strong foundation in healthcare SaaS implementation, project management, and revenue cycle operations.

Working under the guidance and mentorship of Senior Implementation Project Managers, you will help drive smaller, less complex client implementations end-to-end while supporting senior team members on larger, more complex engagements. You will coordinate with clients and internal teams (Implementation, Integration, Customer Success, Support) to keep projects on track, document decisions, and ensure clients have a smooth onboarding experience.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, client-focused, and detail-oriented, with a strong willingness to learn healthcare technology, revenue cycle workflows, and structured implementation methodology.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Coordination & Delivery Support
  • Manage and co-manage client implementations end-to-end with guidance from senior team members.
  • Support Senior Implementation Project Managers on enterprise and complex mid-market implementations.
  • Maintain detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and meeting notes.
  • Track project tasks, action items, and dependencies across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Help monitor project progress and proactively flag risks or delays to senior team members.
  • Assist with go-live activities including monitoring tasks, coordinating support, and triaging issues.
Client Engagement & Communication
  • Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for assigned clients during implementation and onboarding.
  • Participate in discovery sessions to document current workflows, system requirements, and integration specifications.
  • Support client onboarding sessions, workflow reviews, and end user training under the direction of senior team members.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clinical, financial, and IT stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Coordinate with Integration Engineers, Engineering, Product, and Customer Success teams to support technical setup and issue resolution.
  • Help translate technical requirements into operational workflows for clients.
  • Participate in internal project meetings and contribute to status updates.
Process & Documentation
  • Maintain thorough project documentation, including workflows, technical requirements, and client configurations.
  • Help create and update client-facing materials such as training documentation, workflow guides, and user guides.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of implementation playbooks, templates, and best practices.
Learning & Development
  • Build foundational knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle management, practice management workflows, and MedEvolve's product suite.
  • Pursue ongoing training on healthcare regulations, RCM best practices, and project management methodology.
  • Actively seek feedback from Senior Implementation Project Managers and apply learnings to grow toward a senior role.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 1-3 years of project coordination, project management, customer success, healthcare operations, or related experience.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and small projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong time management skills and follow-through.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; comfortable asking questions and learning quickly.
  • Self-motivated and collaborative, with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Comfortable working in a remote, fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as needed (occasional).
PREFERRED / BONUS
  • Exposure to or coursework in healthcare revenue cycle management, billing, or practice management workflows.
  • Experience supporting SaaS implementations or onboarding programs.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as HubSpot, Arrows, Asana, Jira, or Smartsheet.
  • Basic familiarity with healthcare data standards (HL7, EDI, ERA/EFT) or willingness to learn.
  • Comfort working with spreadsheets, simple SQL queries, or APIs (or eagerness to learn).
  • Progress toward CAPM or PMP certification.
  • Background in healthcare operations, medical billing, or business office support.
