Your Role

The Implementation Engineer will support the implementations of new clients and new facilities in the CEVA Contract Logistics network. The engineer is responsible for maintaining layouts, ensuring facilities readiness actions are completed, tracking capital investments, and implementing CEVA LEAN and Continuous Improvement Engineering standards. The engineer collaborates with the implementation project team and local operations & facilities teams to ensure all actions are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities
  • Support site setup, facility outfitting, layout execution, and process optimization activities in the fulfillment center.
  • Collaborate with Solution Design and local Operations & Facilities teams to define facility layouts and racking elevation changes.
  • Implement CEVA standards related to LEAN, Continuous Improvement, Tier Boards, and KPIs.
  • Partner with the Operations team to propose process optimization projects to improve efficiency, safety, and quality, ensuring successful execution of projects.
  • Observe operations and ensure work instructions are adhered to and reflect the actual process.
  • Partner with Project Management and Procurement to ensure equipment and supplies are ordered, tracked, delivered, and implemented on time and on budget.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelorโ€™s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of logistics & distribution experience designing, implementing, or launching new facilities and solutions.
  • Experience in 3PL or similar environment.
  • E-commerce and omnichannel fulfilment experience.
  • Six Sigma and LEAN certifications a plus.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, data analysis, process mapping tools, Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint, and knowledge of WMS functionality.
  • Experience with warehouse automation applications.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, demonstrated history of developing relationships and building trust, ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and develop appropriate solutions.
