The Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO)/ Maintenance Repair and Overhaul - Supply (MRO-S) Functional Management Office (FMO) requires the support of a Site Functional Analyst. This position is responsible for working with Air Logistics Complex (ALC) leadership, stakeholders, functionals, and future users of MRO/MRO-S. The role will also provide direct supervision for assigned team members, ensuring effective task management, performance coaching, and professional development.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform and/or delegate the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned.   • Work with business users and customers to analyze and document evolving business requirements.
  • Promotes and ensures that business requirements are understood by Functional Management Office (FMO) team members across multiple locations, customers, local management levels, and other team members.
  • Collaborative in team environment to define, design, and implement processes, and practices to support ERP implementation.
  • Perform as an ALC Functional Subject Matter Expert responsible for functional analysis, solutioning and implementation.
  • Lead efforts to apply technology to solve complex implementation issues and RICEW development.
  • Collaborate with product owners and other cross functional team members (Developers, Functional Analysts, and Testers) to produce scalable, efficient, and supportable solutions.
  • Analyze business reported functional issues and assist cross functional teams with solution, testing and deployment of fixes.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members.
  • Demonstrate the ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience level.
  • Self-starter who takes initiative to expand knowledge into various mission related areas as required to support the customer's mission.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments.
  • Works collaboratively with the other team members at the site to function as the principle customer contact and site/team lead responsible for task assignments and completions.
  • Supervise, coach and evaluate assigned team members including assigning daily tasks, setting performance goals, conducting performance reviews and fostering a collaborative and high performing team environment.
  • Ensure team members receive appropriate training, mentoring and development opportunities to enhance skills and career progression.
  • Monitor workload distribution, provide guidance on problem solving and address any personnel or performance issues in coordination with management.
  • Lead the entire site activation lifecycle directing comprehensive readiness assessments and executing strategic go-live plans. Oversee that deployment prerequisites are met. Proactively manage stakeholder communications and expectations
  • Lead and support collaboration with Program Management Office and Functional Management Office in developing master project documentation framework, schedules, risk registers, status reports, and functional guides to serve as the core instrument for driving alignment and ensuring repeatable success across all deployments.
  • Serve as lead program implementation authority. Brief senior leadership and key stakeholders on project trajectory, risk posture, and milestone attainment to facilitate strategic decision-making and executive alignment with on-the-ground execution.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:

Minimum of 10 years general experience related to the logistics business area being improved and a minimum of 5 years of specific experience.

  • Broad knowledge of Air Force depot maintenance in all areas to include: Depot Planning, Work loading, Maintenance scheduling, and Maintenance execution.
  • Experience with ALC Business Offices and Air Force Maintenance Groups
  • Peripheral knowledge of ALC legacy systems to include PCMS, Stock Control, DMSI, Kadenza
  • Implementation of maintenance system
  • Good to have experiences: Working Capital Fund, Air Force financial management, and Air Force supply chain.

Language Ability: Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills


Mathematical Ability: Basic skills required.


Reasoning Ability: Strong analytical, problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze problems/issues, gather data and information, evaluate, and recommend alternative solutions.


Job Knowledge and Computer Skills: Advanced skill and proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, Planner, and Project
