Job description


Job Summary and Responsibilities

This role will cover the Arizona Market:  Chandler, Gilbert, Phoenix, Mesa and Prescott Valley. Travel expectation to Prescott Valley overnight 1x per month.  Will be expected to work minimum 3 days per week on-site at facility in Chandler and 1-2 days per week remote.

As a Supply Chain Implementation Manager, you will primarily anticipate, organize, communicate, and ensure compliance for SSRM implementations within a market. You will lead market management of conversions, focusing on capturing total agreement value for facilities.
Daily, you will leverage influence and expertise to coordinate work across stakeholders, aiming to achieve market and system-level savings targets. You will also be the primary contact for clinical engagement, vendor management policy enforcement, new product requests, and trial coordination.
Success in this role requires strategic supply chain optimization, exceptional communication/negotiation skills, a deep understanding of healthcare operations, and a proven ability to drive savings and compliance.

  • Works collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders on local and system-wide implementations to ensure the achievement of hospital and CommonSpirit goals.
  • Functions as a liaison between end-users of contracted supplies and services, clinical and non-clinical team members, and SSRM colleagues.
  • Leads cost reduction programs and assists with developing strategies across the critical supply areas that impact our end-users.
  • Anticipates the impact of implementations to their market and collaborates / communicates with clinicians, physicians, and other hospital departments as needed to ensure success of conversions.
  • Assists with quality aspects, analytics, and education to ensure seamless conversions of products and services.
  • Communicates savings initiatives to clinical and non-clinical end-users – including participation in local stakeholder meetings.
Job Requirements

Required

  • Bachelors Other and minimum of 3 years leadership experience or minimum of 5 years leadership experience in the discipline or Masters Degree
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in Supply Chain within a health care facility system or other relevant experience 
  • Change Management and Leadership (LEAD) experience within the first year and Progressive experience in project management


Preferred

  • Team management and/or project management 
  • Clinical experience, RN or Surgical Tech strongly preferred
  • Incumbents in this job will be grandfathered into educational requirements and Clinical hospital experience, upon hire
