Overview:

We are currently seeking for Financial Planning and Analysis Manager supporting the Business Performance Management team. 

This is a hybrid role with onsite working days (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) in our Parsippany, NJ office.

The person will have an active role in providing accurate and data-based information on company’s performance and profitability, collaborating with Operations Top Management Teams.

You will act as liaison between the finance group and the business segment top management related to reporting, analysis, improvements, and accountability for the financial statements.  You will manage high-level conversations with senior leaders to understand the drivers of the various business operations and be a constructive business partner for segment management, while bringing a strong financial background, experience from an international environment with a strategic business orientation.


Job Description

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Assemble monthly and quarterly actual result consolidation and assist in preparation of executive financial package
  • Maintain and develop various financial models and standard templates distributed for use by all controllers and management during the forecast process
  • Lead new investment and contract renewal analysis
  • Oversee & drive performance improvement programs
  • Manage finance-related projects from planning through execution, ensuring clear governance, timelines, stakeholder alignment, and measurable business outcomes
  • Coordinate cross-functional initiatives involving Finance, Operations, and senior business stakeholders to drive process improvements and financial transparency
  • Lead, train and coach a team of two other employees
  • Manage financial statements and financial ratios

Job Requirements

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance / Accounting
  • 15+ year experience in reporting, consolidation, financial analysis and forecasting
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to various levels of management
  • Strong organizational skills and data/analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (emphasis on Power BI, Excel and PowerPoint)      
  • Proven experience managing finance-related projects, including planning, execution, stakeholder coordination, and delivery of measurable business outcomes
  • Ability to work effectively across Finance, Operations, and senior business stakeholders to drive process improvements and financial transparency
  • Experience in shipping/ logistics a plus
