Position Summary...The Manager, Finance plays a critical role in driving financial planning and analysis by developing models, forecasting, and recommending expense targets to support business performance. This position collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial controls, enhance reporting transparency, and communicate key insights to senior management. The role also involves mentoring associates, fostering accountability, and promoting continuous improvement. By leveraging data-driven decision-making and maintaining compliance with company policies, the Manager contributes to achieving strategic objectives while supporting a culture of integrity and operational excellence.
About the team:
The eCommerce Marketplace FP&A team drives financial planning and performance management for Walmart’s third-party platform. Collaborating with Marketplace, Merchandising, Operations, Product, and Supply Chain teams, the group evaluates seller performance, optimizes unit economics, and guides strategic investments. The team links key marketplace growth drivers—such as GMV, take rate, seller onboarding, and fulfillment through Walmart Fulfillment Services—to financial outcomes. Their work supports profitable growth, enhances seller experience, and strengthens customer value across Walmart’s digital ecosystem, enabling informed decision-making and continuous improvement in a dynamic business environment.
