As a Program Finance Analyst , you'll be more than a numbers expert - you'll be a trusted partner to program leaders, helping guide critical decisions that keep projects on track, compliant, and mission-focused.

This position will be a hybrid work schedule out of our San Diego, CA - may consider full time teleworking dependent on selected candidate

In this role, you will:

  • Own the financial health of assigned government contracts from award to closeout, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and transparency.
  • Partner with program managers to forecast, budget, and track performance across multiple contract types (CPFF, T&M, FFP).
  • Apply your FAR expertise to ensure every dollar is managed in compliance with federal regulations.
  • Drive insight through monthly financial reports, variance analyses, and actionable recommendations.
  • Support growth by contributing to proposal pricing, cost volumes, and contract modifications.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with contracts, procurement, and leadership to solve challenges and seize opportunities.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (advanced degree or CPA/CFA a plus).
  • At least 5 years of program finance experience in a government contracting environment.
  • Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and revenue recognition principles.
  • Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP systems like Deltek Costpoint.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with excellent communication skills.
