Role Overview & Key Responsibilities

The Program Analyst supports data-informed decision making and program evaluation efforts across WEDC. This role helps strengthen the organization's ability to measure outcomes, understand economic development trends, and assess the impact of investments and programs throughout Wisconsin. Working across divisions, the Program Analyst transforms data into actionable insights that support strategic planning, continuous improvement, and organizational effectiveness.In this role, you will:

  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to evaluate program performance, economic trends, and project outcomes
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and other tools that support data transparency and informed decision making
  • Research and apply program measurement and evaluation methodologies to assess organizational impact
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data collection, governance, and reporting processes
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders across the organization
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by integrating evaluation and assessment into program operations
