Education and Experience Required:

Degree (Associate's or Bachelor's) and one (1) year of research, clinical, or event planning work experience.

Knowledge of community engagement, health education, and clinical research principles. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences. Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple activities simultaneously. Ability to analyze and summarize program data and prepare reports. Responsibilities:

  • Plans, coordinates, and implements community engagement and educational events that promote awareness of clinical research opportunities.
  • Develops and maintains partnerships with community organizations, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to expand research outreach.
  • Represents the organization at community events, health fairs, workshops, and public meetings to educate audiences about clinical research.
  • Collaborates with investigators and research staff to support participant recruitment and community engagement strategies for research studies.
  • Develops and distributes educational and promotional materials related to clinical research and research participation.
  • Tracks outreach activities, participation metrics, and program outcomes, and prepares reports for leadership and funding agencies as needed.
  • Assists with the development and implementation of community engagement plans that support organizational research priorities and health equity initiatives.
  • Guides patients in connecting with resources to improve access to health services and research participation.
  • Coordinates daily operations and evaluates financial data to ensure research is conducted in a cost-efficient and fiscally responsible manner.
