We are hiring a Program Director to work in the ALF/Outpatient setting in Lakeland, FL.

Summary:

Demonstrates accountability for and contributes to program development, quality improvement, staffing models and operational optimization in an interdisciplinary environment in outpatient and/or home health settings.Adheres to compliance with state licensure and payer requirements, and the company’s policies and procedures, professional practices and ethical standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruits, screens, selects, hires, trains, coaches, counsels and develops a team of qualified and highly motivated individuals. Assists with student programs.
  • Effectively communicates with therapy and community teams in directing optimal resident care and delivers direct therapy as appropriate.
  • Participates in and directs screening activities and prepares resident documents in a timely manner for skilled intervention when needed.
  • Manages personal and team documentation for completion and timeliness compliance.
  • Proactively schedules residents and secures staff to meet treatment requirements.
  • Conserves resources by controlling cost, adhering to budgets, and using prudent judgment related to expenses incurred by the company.
  • Responsible for individual and team efficiency and productivity.
  • Supports and demonstrates a professional image/attitude when dealing with clients, families, colleagues, customers and care partners.
  • Supports departmental goals and the overall objectives of the company.
  • Manages adherence to therapist credentialing with payer sources.
  • Manages clinic adherence to accreditation standards and assists with surveys as required.
  • Complies with all state and federal laws, regulations and standards of ethical conduct

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a physical or occupational therapy from a four (4) year college or university or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must hold applicable valid and unencumbered professional state license as a PT, OT, SLP, PTA, or COTA)
  • Current NPI and credentialing status with applicable payer groups.
  • Must maintain current CPR Certification.
