Lakeview Hospital is seeking an experienced and compassionate Behavioral Health Program Director to lead Behavioral Health and Social Work services. This role is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating patient care activities and clinical operations to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
Position Summary
The Behavioral Health Program Director oversees the daily operations of Behavioral Health and Social Work services, ensuring departmental goals align with organizational objectives. The Director is responsible for operational performance, regulatory compliance, staff leadership, and quality patient outcomes while following all hospital policies and applicable state regulations.
Essential Duties
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate Behavioral Health and Social Work patient care activities and clinical operations
  • Ensure financial, operational, and strategic goals are achieved
  • Lead and support departmental staff, including performance management and development
  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies and state and federal regulations
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote quality patient care and safety
  • Support quality improvement and program development initiatives
Qualifications
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive management experience required
  • Behavioral health or clinical leadership experience preferred
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required
  • Master's degree preferred
Licenses & Certifications
  • Current RN license required
  • Active state professional license and/or compact license in accordance with applicable laws and regulations
