POSITION SUMMARY:
River Oaks Hospital is seeking a dynamic and talented Program Director - Trauma and Eating Disorders to coordinate, implement and deliver all therapeutic services related to the New Orleans Institute for Trauma/ Compulsivity Therapy Program; develops and presents lectures on related topics while representing River Oaks Hospital. Oversee all clinical aspects of the program to ensure that it is running at top performance. Oversee all marketing aspects of the department with the help of the Director of Business Development. Promotes patient care consistent with the philosophy and objectives of River Oaks Hospital. Performs duties in accordance with the ANA Standards of Practice for Psychiatric Mental Health Care, and facility mission, values, policies, and behavioral standards.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
  • M aster's degree in Social Work or Counseling with specialization in mental health.
  • Possesses an unencumbered license; i.e., LPC, LCSW; by a certified board in Louisiana.
  • A minimum of two yrs. experience in individual, group, and family therapy; must have experience in trauma and compulsive behavior treatment interventions plus relapse preventions;
  • Ability to assess the needs and provide the required range of treatment modalities and interventions for trauma and compulsive behavior clients.
