• Conduct thorough assessments, including biopsychosocial evaluations, to determine the specific needs and treatment goals of patients seeking help for substance use disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
• Facilitate both individual and group counseling sessions, creating a safe space for patients to explore recovery challenges, enhance coping strategies, and promote personal growth.
• Provide crisis intervention services, offering immediate support and resources during substance-related emergencies.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care that addresses the multifaceted aspects of addiction.
• Educate patients and their families on the complexities of addiction, relapse prevention techniques, and community resources that support long-term recovery.
• Maintain meticulous, confidential documentation of patient interactions in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring the highest standards of care.
• Participate actively in team meetings and professional development sessions, contributing insights to enhance treatment protocols and patient outcomes.
• Stay updated on advancements in substance use disorder treatments and best practices to continually refine your therapeutic approach.

Your primary focus will be individuals battling substance use disorders, which often co-occur with other mental health conditions. Our clinic serves a diverse clientele, including adolescents, adults, and families from various backgrounds. Understanding the unique cultural and socioeconomic factors that influence recovery will be essential for establishing rapport and delivering effective therapy.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Clinical Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• A valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in Washington State.
• Strong expertise in substance use disorders, recovery-oriented practices, and evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to providing non-judgmental, empathetic care.
• Proficiency in maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality in all patient interactions.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems and related technologies for efficient documentation and patient management.
• The ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team focused on holistic patient care.

• Previous experience in providing therapy within a substance use disorder treatment program is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with community resources and additional support systems that are instrumental in aiding patient recovery journeys.
• Skills in leading group therapy sessions and managing diverse group dynamics are advantageous.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with performance-based bonuses.
