In this remote role, you will work closely with a team of mental health professionals dedicated to improving the lives of individuals facing mental health issues. • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients experiencing mood disorders, assessing the intensity, frequency, and duration of symptoms.
• Collaborate with clients to formulate individualized treatment plans that align with their specific needs and therapeutic goals.
• Employ evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address mood disorders effectively.
• Provide educational resources and ongoing support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
• Continuously monitor client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on evolving needs.
• Work in tandem with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and integrated care for clients.
• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in the treatment of mood disorders to enhance treatment approaches.
• Maintain accurate documentation, adhering to legal and ethical guidelines to uphold client confidentiality.
• Participate actively in team meetings, case reviews, and professional development opportunities to foster continuous learning and improvement.
• Advocate for clients by addressing mental health stigma and ensuring that their needs are met within the community.

This role primarily supports individuals experiencing mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. You will work with a diverse population, including individuals from marginalized communities, domestic abuse survivors, and those experiencing homelessness. Your compassion and expertise will be vital in helping clients navigate their struggles and work towards a healthier future.

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling the development of trustful relationships with clients.
• A nonjudgmental demeanor, empathy, and a compassionate attitude towards clients' experiences and challenges.
• Strong organizational and time management skills for efficient handling of caseload and administrative responsibilities.

• Experience working with clients facing mood disorders, especially within community health settings.
• Familiarity with specific therapeutic methodologies such as CBT and DBT for effective intervention.
• Previous involvement in advocacy work or community outreach to support mental health awareness and resources.

• Salary range of $70,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
