Position Overview

The Assistant LMRT Program Director supports the leadership and daily operations of the Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT) program. This role works closely with the Program Director and instructional staff to maintain academic quality, support faculty development, ensure compliance, and promote student success in both classroom and blended learning environments.

The ideal candidate is passionate about healthcare education, student development, and creating a positive learning experience for future healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support daily operations of the LMRT program

  • Assist with faculty supervision, evaluations, and training

  • Ensure curriculum delivery aligns with accreditation and academic standards

  • Monitor student attendance, academic progress, and engagement

  • Support blended learning instruction in online and face-to-face environments

  • Assist with reporting, compliance, and accreditation documentation

  • Collaborate with the externship coordinator regarding site development and student progress

  • Participate in student advising and orientation activities

  • Assist with scheduling, lesson plan review, and program initiatives

  • Provide classroom coverage and administrative support as needed

Qualifications
  • Current LMRT or RT license required

  • Minimum of 3 years of radiology-related work experience, teaching experience, or combination of both

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications and data entry

  • Passion for education and student success
