JOB DESCRIPTION:

SUMMARY

Responsible for developing and executing business development and marketing activities that support the growth of Wealth Management services. Maintains relationships with current and prospective clients, prepares analyses and proposals, coordinates referral activities, participates in leadership initiatives, and works collaboratively to increase assets under management and expand client service offerings.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Business Development & Marketing

  • Participates in the development of a division-wide wealth management marketing plan, including activities, materials, presentations, and calling programs.
  • Initiates contacts to develop and close new wealth management business opportunities.
  • Promotes cross-selling by maintaining the wealth management referral incentive program.
  • Develops and maintains a pipeline of prospective clients utilizing bank referrals, business partners, MCIF, and other marketing resources.
  • Participates in seminars and events for prospective and current clients.

Client Relationship Management

  • Maintains ongoing contact with existing clients to strengthen relationships, identify additional business opportunities, and request referrals.
  • Assists administrators, as needed, in expanding wealth management services for current clients.
  • Receives and reviews reports on client calls, ACT documentation, business closed, and prospect status.

Strategic Leadership & Planning

  • Actively participates in Wealth Management Leadership Team meetings, planning activities, and decision-making processes.
  • Completes asset allocation, plan design, fee expense, and other analyses required to prepare proposals for prospective clients.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 4 year college degree or related work experience
  • Sales experience in both wealth management and retirement plan services

HOURS:

Regular business hours, Monday through Friday.
