What are some common challenges faced by program development managers, and how can they address them?

Program Development Managers often encounter challenges such as aligning cross-functional teams, managing competing priorities, and ensuring that program goals meet both organizational and stakeholder needs. To address these challenges, effective communication, strong project management skills, and adaptability are essential. Regular check-ins with team members and stakeholders, clear goal-setting, and the use of project management tools can help streamline processes and keep programs on track. Job description

A great growth strategy only matters if it can actually be executed in the field - and that's exactly the gap this role exists to close. As Intuit scales Omnichannel growth initiatives across the Assisted business, this role owns the omnichannel enablement strategy across programs, tools, and infrastructure that turn strategy into day-to-day reality for stores, Expert Centers, and outbound concierge teams (in partnership with cross-functional partners).

You'll build and launch new growth programs from concept to scaled execution, stand up the systems and content that make those programs work in the field, and construct the operating model that sustains growth year-round - not just for a single season. This is a high-impact opportunity to be the connective tissue between strategy and execution across one of Intuit's most important growth priorities.

Responsibilities

Program Design & Launch

  • Design and launch new growth programs and solutions — including in-store activation, referral programming, outbound sales cadences, and new customer experiences and product solutions — from concept through scaled execution.

  • Develop the specific solutions needed to drive retention against specific segments, and liaise directly with the field on delivery.

Field & Sales Enablement

  • Own the enablement framework for stores, Expert Centers, and outbound concierge teams, including playbooks, and incentive structures.

  • Ensure field and sales teams have the content, tools, and training needed to execute new programs effectively.

Systems & Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Partner with Sales Operations, Growth Tech, and Product to ensure programs are supported by the right systems (Salesforce, Braze, CRM) and that data flows are connected end to end.

  • Identify and resolve technical or operational gaps that slow program execution.

Operating Model & Performance Tracking

  • Develop and maintain program scorecards, cadence documentation, and learning plans across Omnichannel workstreams in partnership with Product, Expert Network and Customer Success teams

  • Build the operating rhythms and documentation needed to sustain programs beyond initial launch.

Strategy-to-Execution Bridge

  • Serve as the connective tissue between strategy and field execution, identifying gaps, removing friction, and accelerating time-to-market for new initiatives.

  • Partner closely with the Retention Mission Team and other Omnichannel stakeholders to ensure programs align with broader growth strategy.

Qualifications

  • Background in sales enablement, program management, or growth operations.

  • Experience designing programs at scale and enabling distributed or field-based teams.

  • Strong communicator who can translate complexity into clear, actionable operating models.

  • Proven ability to partner across Sales Operations, Growth Tech, and Product to connect systems and data end to end.

  • Background working within a retail, Assisted services, or omnichannel commerce environment.
