Job Description

This Senior Business Development Manager role offers the opportunity to drive the growth of  drug delivery business of medmix, across the US market. Reporting directly to the Head of the Business Unit, the position combines a high level of independence with responsibility for strategic market development, customer acquisition, and expansion of long-term partnerships within the pharma and biotech industry.

The role is focused on developing new business opportunities for innovative drug-delivery solutions while collaborating cross-functionally on commercial strategy, business planning, and regulatory alignment.

  • Strategic Market Development - Shape and execute strategies to position innovative drugdelivery concepts in the healthcare and medical device market. Identify new business opportunities and drive market expansion.

  • Customer Acquisition & Relationship Management - Build and expand a strong customer portfolio by winning new clients and deepening longterm partnerships with existing accounts.

  • Business Planning & Reporting - Develop compelling business cases, reports, and budget plans to support executive decisionmaking and influence marketing and sales strategies.

  • Regulatory & Quality Alignment - Collaborate closely with Quality to ensure compliance with medicaldevice standards and regulatory frameworks.

Qualifications
  • A degree in a scientific, technical, or business discipline, combined with several years of relevant experience in business development, medical devices, or healthcare.

  • Strong understanding of clinical studies and ideally a wellestablished network within the healthcare ecosystem, including CROs.

  • Proficiency with projectmanagement tools and experience working with CRM systems.

  • Excellent communication skills in English, enabling effective collaboration across teams and regions.

  • Flexibility and willingness to travel frequently across the USA depending on customer and business needs.
