Job Title: Director of Business DevelopmentJob Description

We are seeking a Director of Business Development to support our growth initiatives across the country. This individual will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building strategic industry relationships, and expanding our national client portfolio.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a national business development strategy.
  • Leverage an existing network of industry relationships to identify opportunities.
  • Cold call, qualify, and develop new leads.
  • Research potential clients, projects, and market opportunities.
  • Build relationships with owners, developers, architects, engineers, brokers, and consultants.
  • Coordinate proposal and presentation efforts with internal teams.
  • Support preconstruction and project pursuit activities.
  • Track business development activity and provide updates to leadership.
  • Grow prospects into repeat clients and strategic accounts.
Essential Skills
  • 5+ years of business development, sales, or client development experience within the construction industry.
  • Established book of business and existing relationships within the AEC community.
  • Proven ability to generate new opportunities through cold calling, networking, and relationship development.
  • Experience selling construction, design-build, EPC, engineering, or related services.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed for client meetings, industry events, and project pursuits (40%).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • General Contractor business development experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with design-build project delivery.
  • Existing relationships with developers, owners, architects, engineers, brokers, and consultants.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $200000.00/yr.
