Build Your Career. Lead with Purpose. Grow with Hubbard.
About Hubbard Supplyhouse Hubbard Supplyhouse is a plumbing and irrigation supply house specializing in kitchen, bath, appliances, and lighting. We proudly serve local plumbers, builders, and homeowners in bringing beautiful and functional living spaces to life. As a family-owned, Christian company, our Core Focus is "Honoring God with a great team that builds customer partnerships by delivering on expectations." Our team is built on trust, service, and a commitment to doing things the right way.
About the Program
We don't hire for roles - we develop leaders. The Flow Development Program is a selective, 6-month rotational experience that places one exceptional associate in the Central Territory, giving them a front-row view of every corner of our business before placing them in a long-term role where they can potentially grow into leadership.
This position will train across our Central Territory branches - Garner, NC, Concord, NC, Albemarle, NC, Salisbury, NC - providing broad exposure to how our business operates across Central North Carolina. This is the inaugural cohort, and the beginning of a talent pipeline that will grow with the company.
Associates who complete the program will have earned deep knowledge across Operations, Sales, Purchasing, Marketing, Building Customer Partnerships, and more, and will transition into a permanent role where they can build a real career and potentially grow into leadership.
For associates who demonstrate exceptional growth, the program may extend an additional 1-4 months through a Phase 5 Extended Specialization - deeper, hands-on experience in Sales Office, Showroom, and/or Purchasing - to build an even more well-rounded future leader before permanent placement.
This program is designed for people who see a supply house and think there's more going on here than meets the eye. You're right - and we'd like to show you.
What You'll Learn
During the program, you'll rotate through all key areas of the business, including:
  • Operations & Logistics - Warehouse operations, inventory management, receiving, product flow, shipping, and delivery
  • Sales & Building Customer Partnerships - Customer interactions, account management, and product solutions
  • Purchasing & Supply Chain - Vendor relationships, purchasing processes, and inventory planning
  • Marketing & Business Development - Customer engagement, promotions, and brand awareness initiatives
  • Leadership & Professional Development - Communication, teamwork, company culture, and career growth

What We're Looking For
  • A drive to learn, lead, and take ownership - not just complete tasks
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and genuine coachability
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team-first mindset with a commitment to supporting others
  • Customer-focused approach and creative problem-solving ability
  • Dependability, accountability, and sharp attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

What We Offer
  • Competitive salary - commensurate with education and experience
  • Structured 6-month rotational training program with dedicated mentorship
  • Potential extended specialization opportunity (Phase 5) for top-performing team members
  • Relocation assistance provided upon program completion and placement
  • Exposure to multiple career paths with a clear runway to a long-term role
  • Monday-Friday schedule
  • Matching 401(k) and profit-sharing program
  • Comprehensive benefits package with supplemental options
  • Paid holidays, PTO, and sick leave
  • Christmas bonus, team-building events, and company picnic
  • Employee discount program
  • Long-term career opportunities with a growing, values-driven organization

If you're motivated, eager to grow, and ready to build something real - we'd love to hear from you. Apply today and take the first step in your leadership journey with Hubbard Supplyhouse.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required; recent graduates strongly encouraged to apply
  • Associate's degree in the plumbing trade (plumbing only at this time) can be in lieu of the Bachelor's degree requirement
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Willingness to learn and work across multiple departments
  • Ability to work in warehouse, office, and customer-facing environments
  • Valid driver's license preferred
  • Must be willing to relocate upon program completion. Placement location is determined in partnership with the associate based on business need and individual strengths. Relocation assistance is provided.
