Production Operations Manager
Join our dynamic team at Alleima Special Metals, part of the global Alleima Group, where innovation meets precision manufacturing. Within our Specialized Business Unit, we produce high-performance titanium tube products for demanding industries such as Aerospace and Medical.
We are seeking a Production Operations Manager to lead at our Kennewick facility. In this high-impact leadership role, you will oversee production operations and drive excellence across safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.
Your Role
As our Production Operations Manager, you will be more than just a manager, you will be a leader and a mentor. You will be a key member of our Production Unit in Kennewick, WA, leading a team of two department managers, production planning and inventory professionals, and overseeing approximately 80 USW employees producing high-precision titanium tube products.
  • Safety first! Ensuring your department meets the required safety and environmental standards and that employees receive the necessary EHS training.
  • Provide positive leadership, direction, support, and coaching to the Production personnel to achieve safe, compliant, and efficient operations.
  • Coaching and enabling your team to oversee production operations, including production scheduling, safety, staffing, reporting, procedure adherence, consistency, and quality.
  • Collaborating with the Technical Engineering team to design, develop, and implement programs and procedures to optimize production and continually improve manufacturing processes.
  • Developing and implementing comprehensive operational plans, strategies, and goals to optimize production processes and achieve targets.
  • Ensuring timely availability of raw materials and tools necessary for production.

About You
You are an engaging and motivating leader with a passion for excellence and a strong aptitude for problem-solving. You bring solid business acumen and understand how operational decisions positively impact overall site performance.
The ideal candidate brings proven experience leading leaders, with 5+ years managing managers or supervisors, along with at least 8 years of experience in manufacturing environments, preferably in precision or metals production. This individual demonstrates strong leadership capabilities supported by effective communication, coaching, influencing, and cross-functional collaboration skills. They possess well-developed critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, and have the capacity to think strategically while executing tactically in a fast-paced production environment. Bachelor's degree required.
What you can expect from us
  • The salary range for this position is $112,400 - $140,500 annually with a 15% annual bonus and annual merit eligibility.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision insurance as well as company paid disability and life insurance.
  • We offer paid time off and 11 paid holidays a year.
  • A 401 (K) retirement savings plan begins on day 31 and provides a 5% company contribution with company match of 50% for the first 6% you contribute, all immediately vested.
