Are you in school for nursing and looking to get some hands on experience in a hospital setting to boost that resume? This position was built with you in mind! Flexible scheduling with a low number of shift requirements to accommodate the hectic schedule of a student in the healthcare track!

Saint Luke's North on Barry Road is seeking a Nursing Intern to join our team. This is a great entry level position with on the job training available for an applicant that has completed the fundamental portion of their nursing program. This opportunity is also a great position for an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) that is looking for a supportive workplace to call home. You will have the opportunity?to?help improve hospital throughput and capacity while enhancing the patient experience by floating between departments as needed based on staffing and patient care needs. Help ensure our vision to be, "The Best Place to Get Care. The Best Place to Give Care".

Shift Details: 12 hour shifts of choice (06:45am-7:15pm or 6:45pm-7:15am), 1 shift every 6 week rotation, 1 hard to staff requirement

The Work: ?

· Provides?patient care under the direction and supervision of an RN.?

· Provides?assistance with activities of daily living and care, such as bathing, personal hygiene, elimination and toileting, nutrition, feeding, hydration, ambulation and positioning.?

· Anticipates?the patient's family needs in a proactive fashion.?

· Individualizes?and modifies?care according to the patient's needs.?

· Collaborates?with other health care team members to enhance the provision of patient care.?
