Description

Specifically, areas of responsibility will include:

For the Development Intern:

Assist with assigned outreach initiatives

Support record keeping as assigned

Assist with special projects to help fulfill development goals

For the Communications Intern:

Take photos and create videos.

Write articles for School magazine and website.

Assist with annual refresh of website.

Proofread and copyedit documents.

Index and organize photos and publications from the past year.

Draft social media content.

For the School of Public Service Intern:

Support record keeping as assigned.

Assist with small-group trips and taking attendance. 

Participate in family-style lunches. 

Take photos and create videos; draft social media copy.

Interact with and engage students. 

Assist with preparations for the summer program. 

Format, collect and organize documents; create students' curricular binders. 

Prepare for "Move-In" and "Move-Out" days. 

Organize and host special on-campus events including, but not limited to, the Scavenger Hunt, Ice Cream Social, SPS Olympics, and the Talent Show. 

Research current restaurant and shop prices in the local area. 

Activate student credit cards. 

Index and organize medical forms and curricular documents.

The commitment to work 9am-4pm on weekdays throughout the duration of the program, including several days in the week before the program begins and several days in the week following the program's end-date.

Assist with special projects and execution.

General Support requested of all interns:

The commitment to work at least 3 consecutive weeks out of the 8 week assignment

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Ability to perform duties with awareness of St. Albans policies.
