The Opportunity

RS&H is currently seeking a Program Development Manager to join our team in the District 2 Corridor Program Office in Jacksonville, FL. This is an embedded position reporting to the office 5 days per week.

As part of the Corridors Program Office team, you'll serve an integral role in development of the overall program and delivering the largest and most complex projects in District 2. From the very beginning of RFQ development and marketing meetings to seeing projects through construction. This position will help lead the procurement, plans development and assist during construction.

This position will coordinate with the subject matter experts and project managers and support them with whatever they need to be successful in ensuring the program as a whole and the individual projects are delivered at the expectation of the client. Provide managerial and personnel assistance in identifying program needs and taking steps to fill those needs with whatever resources are available. Being organized and clearly communicating program goals and decisions between all individuals involved.

Essential Functions:

  • Participate in the development of RFQs
  • Attend and contribute to marketing meetings
  • Assist in leading procurement activities
  • Support plans development processes
  • Provide support during construction phases
  • Coordinate with subject matter experts and project managers to ensure their success
  • Identify program gaps or needs and take action to fill those needs with available resources

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Have a bachelor's degree from an accredited program and 12 years relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Professional Engineer license preferred.  
  • Have a passion for project management. PMP certification is preferred.
  • Be proficient with Microsoft Office. 
  • Possess strong attention to detail, commitment to follow through, and ability to work independently following general direction and oversight from leadership.
  • Be able to multi-task, prioritize workload, set priorities, and manage multiple projects and assignments.
  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate to and understand people in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Possess the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships, demonstrate professional courage, and guide and influence others.

This office will operate in close collaboration with other District Corridors Program Offices to ensure a uniform approach and delivery statewide. The District 2 Corridors Program Office will work alongside District 2 staff and owner representatives to collaborate with contractors and designers to deliver high profile projects in District 2.
