The Manager, Technical Product Delivery is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end process of product delivery in the technology environment, leading and mentoring teams who are tasked with designing, building, testing, deploying, supporting, and standardizing on building highly functional teams within DaVita IT. This role may manage cross functional team, ensure successful product launches and collaborate with stakeholders and business partners to deliver high qualitysolutions. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of managing agile scrum development teams and working with diverse business partners and the ability to juggle multiple concurrent large complex cross functional projects. You must possess strong Project Management skills along with excellent people management, time management, decision-making, problem solving, presentation, documentation, planning, and organization skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Product Delivery Management
  • Apply strong technical expertise to lead technical product delivery lifecycle, ensuring architectural integrity, timely, successful product releases.
  • Monitor and track project milestones, ensuring adherence to timelines, scope and budget
  • Drive the execution of product initiatives, ensuring quality standards are met
  • Strong focus on process optimization and efficiency, with a proven ability to identify root causes and drive effective solutions through to completion.
  • Possess a strong product mindset and a deep understanding of user behavior, with the ability to intuitively navigate websites/apps, identify user experience gaps
  • Work with scrum masters, product managers, project managers, architects, QA and development teams to assure flawless execution of IT projects

Team Leadership, Collaboration & Accountability
  • Lead, mentor and manage a large-scale team (~ 50 people), including engineering and QA to ensure seamless delivery across multiple workstreams
  • Provide critical oversight by asking probing, insightful questions that challenge assumptions and drive outcome-based performance and ensure rigorous accountability for outcomes
  • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement and encouraging teammates to take ownership and lead by example in alignment with DaVita core values
  • Support career development, performance management, conflict management, guiding through changes, resource allocation, recruiting and hiring for technical roles
  • Guide technical decision making and architecture in collaboration with technical leads, technical teams and architects.
  • Drive the strategic implementation of emerging technologies, with a specific focus on Generative AI to enhance team productivity, product functionality and operational efficiency.

Process Improvement
  • Evaluate and improve product delivery processes and workflows to drive efficiency and effectiveness
  • Ensure team aligns with methodologies for product development and deployment
  • Identify and resolved any roadblocks or risks that may impact delivery, escalating when necessary, with proposed solutions

Stakeholder Communication
  • Manage complex stakeholder expectations regarding deliverables, timeline and scope
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team to ensure product aligns with customer needs and business goals

The Salary Range for the role is $98,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year.
If a candidate is hired, they will be paid at least the minimum wage according to their geographical jurisdiction and the exemption status for the position.
New York Exempt: New York City and Long Island: $66,300.00/year, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $66,300.00/year, Remainder of New York state: $62,353.20/year New York Non-exempt: New York City and Long Island: $17.00/hour, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $17.00/hour, Remainder of New York state: $16.00/hour
Washington Exempt: $80,168.40/year Washington Non-exempt: Bellingham: $19.13/hour, Burien: $21.71/hour, Everette: $20.77/hour, Unincorporated King County: $20.82/hour, Renton: $21.57/hour, Seattle: $21.30/hour, Tukwila: $21.65/hour, Remainder of Washington state: $17.13/hour
