Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Neurodiagnostic Technologist II, you will perform a range of neurodiagnostic procedures as a mid-level specialist, ensuring patient safety and adherence to facility policies and procedures.

Every day you will prepare test setups, apply electrodes accurately, manage patient safety during clinically significant events, and contribute to diagnostic processes with a high level of operational competence.

To be successful in this role, you will possess intermediate neurodiagnostic technical expertise, meticulous attention to detail in procedure execution, strong communication skills for effective patient management, and a proven ability to independently perform varied tests while prioritizing patient safety.

  • Applies electrodes in accordance with the ACNS guidelines.
  • Performs prescribed testing.
  • Monitors and documents patient’s condition and responds to and reports any adverse reactions.
  • Identifies and corrects for artifacts.
  • Reviews patient’s history and educates patient about procedure.
  • Shops/graphs, analyzes, documents and reports results of diagnostic procedures.
Schedule & Location
  • Primary Base: Holy Cross Hospital Mountain Point (Lehi, UT).
  • Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (Flexible 8:00 AM start).
  • Travel Requirement: Regular local travel required to support regional operations.
Travel Schedule Breakdown:
  • West Jordan: 1 day per week
  • Salt Lake City: 1 day per week
  • West Valley: 1 day per month
Job Requirements

Required

  • High School Diploma/G.E.D.
  • Two (2) years of experience in performance of procedures in a patient care environment.
  • Current Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association.
  • Has passed examination and obtained the credential appropriate to the modality of practice (ie., R. EEG T. or R. EP T.).

Preferred

  • Graduation from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited Neurodiagnostic Program.
  • Associate Degree, or higher, from an accredited college or university.
