Position Summary

Program Delivery Specialistsplay a key role in delivering Public Strategies' curriculum based programs. They lead engaging learning experiences that help individuals and families build knowledge, strengthen skills, and achieve meaningful personal goals. Program Delivery Specialists implement evidence informed curricula with fidelity, create inclusive learning environments, and support participants throughout their learning journey.

This occasional part time position is part of the Knowledge Development and Deployment Team within the Knowledge and Practice Division and reports to the Manager of Facilitation Practice and Quality. Program Delivery Specialists select their preferred availability, and assignments are scheduled based on program needs and individual availability. Required training, preparation, and periodic professional development are scheduled as needed to support successful program delivery.

Essential Job Functions

Program Delivery & Facilitation

  • Deliver assigned community based programs using established curricula, materials, and delivery standards.
  • Facilitate interactive learning experiences that encourage discussion, reflection, and practical skill building.
  • Adapt facilitation techniques to meet participant needs while maintaining fidelity to program content.
  • Coordinate with co facilitators and program staff to ensure consistent, high quality program delivery.

Participant Engagement & Support

  • Build positive and trusting relationships with participants to support engagement and continued participation.
  • Reinforce program concepts and help participants apply new knowledge and skills.
  • Assist participants in goal setting, activities, identifying resources, and navigating barriers.
  • Maintain awareness of community resources and provide referrals when appropriate.

Program Operations & Participant Experience

  • Assist with preparing program materials, technology, supplies, and learning spaces before each session as needed.
  • Welcome participants, support check in processes, and help create an inclusive environment.
  • Monitor participant needs during sessions and address routine on site issues.
  • Assist with restoring and organizing the learning environment after program activities.
  • Represent Public Strategies professionally with participants, partners, host sites, and community stakeholders.

Program Quality & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate and timely attendance records, participant documentation, and required program forms.
  • Provide feedback on participant engagement, curriculum implementation, and operational needs.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities to support consistent program standards.
  • Other duties as assigned and accepted.

Professional Expectations

  • Program Delivery Specialists must complete all required onboarding, program specific training, certification activities (when applicable), and ongoing professional development to maintain proficiency and delivery quality.

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to travel to community based program locations.
  • Ability to move throughout training and meeting spaces to support participant engagement and program activities.
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, and use hands for extended periods during program preparation and delivery.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and transport program materials, equipment, and supplies weighing up to 20 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to operate a computer, audiovisual equipment, and other technology used to support program delivery.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with participants and colleagues in individual and group settings.
