Program Delivery Associate

Location: Remote (virtual with some in person meetings and events)

Organization: Union for Reform Judaism

Start Date: ASAP

Salary Range: $55,000 - $60,000 plus competitive benefits package

The Role

If you love bringing events to life, keeping things organized, and making experiences feel seamless and engaging, this role is for you. The Union for Reform Judaism (URJ) is looking for a Program Delivery Associate to help plan and run in-person experiences and virtual programs. You’ll be the person making sure everything actually works behind the scenes, from logistics and tech to communications and participant experience. This is a great role for someone early in their career who’s detail-oriented, tech-comfortable, and excited to grow in event planning, operations, and program delivery in a nonprofit setting.

What You Will Do

Plan & Run Events

  • Plan and execute virtual programs and occasional in-person events

  • Develop run-of-show documents, timelines, and workflows

  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to support program delivery

Own the Logistics

  • Manage registration, participant tracking, and event operations

  • Set up and run virtual platforms (Zoom, webinars, and event tools)

  • Troubleshoot issues in real time to ensure a smooth participant experience

Build the Digital Experience

  • Create and manage event apps and digital program platforms

  • Upload schedules, speaker information, and resources

  • Ensure platforms are intuitive, accessible, and user-friendly

Communications & Participant Experience

  • Draft and send participant communications (confirmations, reminders, follow-ups)

  • Support outreach and engagement efforts in partnership with internal teams

  • Serve as a point of contact for participant questions and support

Operations

  • Maintain clean, accurate data in systems like Salesforce and CVENT

  • Track budgets, invoices, and vendor details

  • Support post-event evaluation and continuous improvement efforts

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in event planning, program coordination, operations, or related work (internships welcome)

  • Experience supporting virtual events, logistics, or digital platforms

  • Familiarity with tools such as Zoom, event platforms (e.g., Cvent), and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)

  • Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends based on program needs

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 15 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
