Job Description:
At Regions, the Home Improvement Financing Operations Trainer works within an area of the Lending Operations group to train and coach new representatives. This position also assists with ongoing coaching, project coordination, and testing.
Regions Home Improvement Financing, a division of Regions Bank, engages in strategic partnerships with home-improvement manufacturers, distributors, franchisors, trade groups, and independent contractors to provide Point-of-Sale financing capabilities. This enables these partners to provide homeowners with an additional option to pay for various improvements to their homes, benefitting both the contractor partner and the homeowner.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Trains new and existing associates in Operations
  • Prepares and schedules training sessions
  • Monitors new associates during training periods to ensure accuracy and quality control
  • Facilitates continuing education of existing client service procedures
  • Offers recommendations to management in procedure implementation
  • Monitors calls for training purposes and provides effective feedback
  • Assists in planning projects that impact assigned area of Lending Operations
  • Performs testing as needed for projects

This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Two (2) years of customer service, training, or related experience

  • Part of the Contractor Support Department, supporting home improvement financing operations
  • Responsible for training all new hires within the contractor support group
  • Facilitates monthly refresher trainings and ongoing learning sessions
  • Provides individual or ad-hoc training based on performance needs or process changes
  • Delivers departmental updates related to procedures, tools, or workflow changes
  • Partners with leadership to support training effectiveness and team readiness
  • Monitors and escalates attendance concerns when issues arise, following established guidelines
  • Schedule of Role: Monday - Friday, between 8:00am-6:00pm

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
