Job Summary
The SUCCESS Program is a 3-month paid employment program designed to provide opportunities for individuals who have completed a pre-employment program and/or come highly recommended by a community partner or agency.
The program's goal is to help participants secure permanent employment within MGB at Brigham and Women's Hospital. Many candidates entering the program have faced barriers to sustainable employment. Through partnerships with departments across the hospital, participants gain valuable skills, competencies, and hands-on experience in a supportive and welcoming environment.
Upon successful completion of the 90-day program, participants become eligible to pursue permanent employment opportunities within their training department, other hospital departments, or elsewhere throughout the MGB system.
Qualifications
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Perform duties under moderate supervision with intermediate to advanced proficiency, as outlined in the relevant job description
• Assist with special projects as directed
• Perform additional duties as requested
• Follow HIPAA guidelines to protect patient privacy and confidentiality
• Adhere to hospital and departmental procedures, policies, and guidelines
• Demonstrate flexibility and professionalism in working with diverse people and situations
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be able to read, speak, and understand English
• Strong customer service, time management, and multi-tasking skills
