Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal

Are you a skilled, detail-oriented litigation paralegal with a passion for helping others? We’re looking for a motivated professional to join our dynamic and fast-paced personal injury team.

In this role, you’ll be instrumental in supporting our attorneys by preparing legal documents, managing case files, reviewing and summarizing medical records, and assisting with trial prep and settlement negotiations. This is an exciting opportunity for someone ready to take their paralegal career to the next level in a supportive and collaborative environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Draft a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, complaints, subpoenas, interrogatories, deposition notices, pretrial orders, legal briefs, and affidavits
  • Prepare case files and exhibits for trial; assist with witness coordination and legal research
  • Order, review, and summarize medical records for use in discovery responses
  • Support attorneys in family settlement discussions and mediation proceedings
  • Liaise with healthcare providers and insurance companies to negotiate and resolve liens, medical bills, and related expenses
  • Utilize SmartAdvocate or other case management software to maintain organized and up-to-date case files
  • Apply knowledge of the personal injury pre-litigation process to assist with case development
Requirements:
  • 3–5 years of paralegal experience, preferably in personal injury litigation
  • Completion of an ABA-approved paralegal program (Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • NALA certification strongly preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong time-management abilities and ability to handle multiple deadlines
  • Experience with SmartAdvocate or similar case management systems is a plus
